How to Beat High Cholesterol - Naturally

“Your total cholesterol is 236,” said the doctor. “LDL, 175.”

Not good. Especially when you consider how hard I’d worked to get those numbers down. The year before, my total cholesterol had been 261. I was hoping all the exercise and diet modifications would at least get it under the desired cutoff level of 200.

Not even close.

As my doctor whipped out his notepad and began to write up a prescription, I took one last shot in the dark.

“What about those Omega-3’s out in the lobby?” I asked.

I recalled seeing bottles of Omega-3 supplements on display in the waiting room. A brochure mentioned numerous health benefits, including the use of Omega-3s as a natural means of improving your lipid panel. This caught my attention because I’d heard about nasty side effects of medication and wanted to avoid this at all costs.

The doctor paused for a moment, double-checked my numbers, and agreed to give it a try. He gave me contact information for the company that was promoting these Omega-3 products.

Five months later, my total cholesterol was 151. Well below the red-flag level of 200. My LDL, the “bad” cholesterol, was now 100 (desired range is under 130). My cholesterol/HDLC ratio dropped from 5.1 to a more acceptable 4.1.

Introducing LifeGuard Health, LLC

With this experience in mind, I’m thrilled to introduce readers of UniqueFitnessTips.com to LifeGuard Health, LLC. If you need to take action for a health problem but are also concerned about side effects of prescription medications, LifeGuard Health products offer a remarkably effective natural alternative.

Be it heart health, joint or back pain, inflammatory conditions (such as arthritis, eczema or irritable bowel disease), lowering certain blood lipids, or basic health maintenance and prevention, LifeGuard Health has custom-formulated dietary supplements designed specifically for your needs.

How Could the Author of a Health Website Have High Cholesterol?

It’s maddening, but true. For some of us, proper exercise and diet can keep cholesterol levels in check. But there are also those of us—myself included—who religiously follow strict exercise and diet regimens and yet it never seems to be enough.

It’s an unfortunate fact that genetics can play a role in your ability (or inability) to maintain healthy cholesterol levels. I’ve met personal trainers, doctors, world-class athletes, aerobics instructors, and numerous other people who on the surface appeared to be in great shape… yet their lipid panels were a disaster.

And many of these people wind up on prescription medication.

Not me.

I’ve actually thanked the staff at LifeGuard Health LLC for rescuing me from potentially toxic side effects when I was within minutes of being put on medication.

How I Did It

There were two products that specifically addressed my needs and got my total cholesterol down from 236 to 151. They are:

1) Flex Omega Benefits: This supplement has a higher concentration of the anti-inflammatory Omega-3 EPA. A surprising result of this is that my allergy and asthma symptoms have been significantly reduced. I've gone off Advair, Nasalcort, and Zyrtec ever since going on Flex Omega Benefits.

2) LDL Reduce!: This product has a combination of red yeast rice and Coenzyme Q-10. Red yeast rice has proven to be a great natural alternative to cholesterol medication. I was only on LDL Reduce! for two weeks before my recent blood work, so obviously it packed a pretty good wallop in relatively short time—with no side effects whatsoever.

These products are pharmaceutical grade and the Omega-3s are in natural triglyceride form (as opposed to the synthetic ethyl ester form of most store brands). The natural triglyceride form is 300% more absorbable. You'd have to pop up to 22 capsules of typical store brands to get the recommended 2 absorbable grams of Omega-3, whereas 4 capsules of LifeGuard Omega-3s gets the job done.

How You Can Do It

First, check with your doctor to confirm that Omega-3s would be an appropriate supplement for you.

Second, browse through the LifeGuard Health website to find the products that are custom-formulated to deliver targeted results for your specific needs. You’ll find plenty of helpful information, FAQs, and access to Customer Service Representatives who would be glad to assist you if you need any additional information.

Third, work as a team with your doctor and LifeGuard Health to address your health concerns. Although the Omega-3s and LDL Reduce! brought forth results far quicker than I’d ever imagined, I don’t want anyone to just pop some supplements and assume that’s all they need to do. Maintain an exercise program and a healthy diet as recommended by your doctor, take advantage of the excellent LifeGuard Health products that match your needs, and enjoy the results!

Yours in health and fitness,

Mark Drolsbaugh
